Syndis receives the 2022 Ský IT Award

Syndis received the Sky honorary award at the 2022 UTmessan for an outstanding contribution in the field of information technology. Syndis was founded in 2011 when three friends, Theódór Ragnar Gíslason, Ýmir Vigfússon and Rich Smith, decided to leverage their knowledge in the field of IT security to increase security awareness in Iceland. Syndis was acquired by Origo in 2021, at which time Origo Security Solutions and Syndis merged under the Syndis name, creating a robust unit that offers comprehensive digital security services, consultancy and development of solutions that protect against cyberattacks and data and identity theft.
